Sirui's Nikon Z-mount 50mm T2.9 Anamorphic 1.6x Lens is made to fill a theater screen with exquisite detail, cinematic bokeh, and creative lens flares. When focused at a light source, this lens produces horizontal blue streaks, giving your movie a dreamlike or science fiction style. This lens enhances the horizontal angle of view by 60% on full-frame cameras, which is similar to a larger 31mm spherical lens, allowing the camera to see clearly to the left and right of your subject. A 16:9 image is de-squeezed to an anamorphic 2.8:1 aspect ratio, whereas a 3:2 image is de-squeezed to a 2.4:1 final image. Oval bokeh, which can gently distort objects and lights in the distance, giving an abstract background for your performers, is a significant feature of anamorphic lenses. Because of its T2.9 aperture, it has a short depth of focus, blurring everything in front of or behind the focal plane. Its focus and aperture rings are geared for use with a follow focus system, and it has female 1/4"-20 threading for mounting options.
