The Leofoto Urban LX-284CT+XB-38 Professional Carbon Fiber Tripod w/Head is surprisingly low in weight while remaining rock sturdy. The kit includes a detachable center column and the adaptable XB-38 ball head with friction knob.

Leg-folding mechanism that rotates 180°
The legs may be folded 180° in the other direction. Pull out the bottom hook, then release the twist locks to remove the central column. Set the tripod angles to the maximum stops, then attach the extra-short center column, mounting platform, and 3/8′′ & 1/4′′ mounting studs one at a time. Tighten the twist locks to finish the ground setting.
