Kirk's Replacement Lens Foot for Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM attaches directly into the lens collar mount and is secured in place by tightening the bolt with the provided T-hex wrench. Most Arca-type clamps and heads are compatible with the lens foot. Other Arca-type accessories may be attached to the bottom or top of the foot thanks to the double-dovetail design, and the 6061-T6 aluminum foot has a black anodized surface that resists scratches and corrosion. Furthermore, safety catches on the bottom of the foot prevent the lens from being mistakenly pulled out when the clamp is halfway open.
