Product Description:For DSLRs and compact video cameras weighing up to 6.6 lb, the SIRUI VA-5 Ultra-Compact Video Head uses a fluid mechanism to achieve smooth pans and tilts. It has independent pan and tilt locks and a spring-assisted internal counterbalance mechanism for smoother tilt motions with heavier cameras. When mounted to the head, a TY-70A quick-release plate allows for forwarding/backward adjustment to properly balance your camera. When the primary locking mechanism is released, a dual safety lock system stops the plate and your camera from falling off the head. Simply push the secondary release button to release the plate. The head contains two bubble levels to help with the horizontal alignment of your shots: one at the base to align the tripod and one at the top to position the camera. A single panhandle is included. The Sirui ET-1204 Travel Carbon Fiber Tripod is a four-section support with a flip leg lock system that can be disengaged to extend the legs and the usual rapid center column to a maximum height of 55.1". The tripod's legs can accommodate to uneven terrain with three different leg angles and independent leg spread; by splaying the tripod's legs out and exchanging the conventional center column to the supplied short column, the support can go to a minimum height of 5.1". To travel with the tripod, the legs fold in reverse to a compact 16.5", and the rubber feet on the legs prevent the tripod from slipping on smooth and level surfaces.
