The Impact 250W/120V JDD Lamp is mostly used by photo studios as a modeling lamp for their photographic lights and to examine where the light falls on a subject. This style of lamp is also used in department stores to light exhibits and retail displays. Most monolight strobes and fixtures that use the normal Edison base will accept the universal E26 / E27 Edison medium screw base. 

The T10's twin envelope construction protects the bulb's actual illumination element from contamination. Hand oil residue, for example, might cause a bulb to overheat and blow up. The frosted glass exterior casts a softer light on the subject, dispersing it evenly and pleasingly. The lamp's color temperature is 2,900K, and its approximate lumen output is 3,800. The lamp's average expected life is 2,000 hours.
